Quarterback. Denver Broncos. Justin Herbert. 7. player. 45.

The Denver Broncos made a surprising move on Monday, as they stated that starting quarterback Joe Flacco would be out for a couple of weeks with a neck injury. What was surprising about that is that it comes on the heels of Flacco going off on his new team during his press conference after the Broncos latest loss at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts.

To say the Flacco experiment in Denver has not worked would be an under statement, and you can believe that John Elway is looking at the quarterbacks in this year’s draft class. One thing is for sure, if Justin Herbert is available to him at No. 7 overall, Elway will pounce, taking yet another shot at a quarterback via the NFL Draft.

In all honesty, Herbert is an outstanding NFL prospect, and could go in the first five picks if teams decide to make some draft night trades. He has all the arm talent you need, is extremely smart with the football, and as a four-year starter for Oregon, could be the most NFL-ready signal-caller in this draft class.

53. . Safety. Cleveland Browns. Grant Delpit. 8. player

The Cleveland Browns have serious issues as the NFL rolls into Week 9, and it could be a situation where head coach Freddie Kitchens only lasts one year in the roll. He has looked completley over his head in his first season as the man in charge of the Browns, and they are just not capitalizing on all the talent they have on this roster.

Looking ahead, changes are coming, and a top-10 draft pick is not where this franchise thought it would be entering the 2019 NFL season. With the No. 8 overall pick, the Browns need to bring in someone to help them get better in the secondary, and Grant Delpit from LSU should be the first safety off the board.

While Delpit was bitten by the injury bug this past weekend, there is no doubt that he is going to be a difference maker at the NFL level. He is great in coverage, is an excellent tackler, and can come up in the box and make plays in blitz packages. He is everything this Browns defense needs at safety.
