DraftKings NBA Picks October 31: Kawhi going for 5-0

DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:
Best Bets:
Kawhi is well rested and it’s a revenge game against the Spurs. Things are still pretty frosty on this front, so I expect Leonard to take it to his former mates and coaches especially. I will have Leonard in every lineup.
Jimmy Butler scored in his first game with the Heat, but he didn’t do much else. It makes me wonder what his ceiling is in Miami. I mean, 21-5-2 with three steals isn’t a bad line. It’s also not nearly enough to hit value. The Heat run a lot of guards in particular, and sub in and out frequently. I don’t know that Butler’s ceiling is high enough to pay up for him.
Honorable Mention:
I ended up moving off of Brandon Ingram on Monday because of Draymond guarding him. I’m an idiot. Ingram put up another 57 DraftKings points in that game. That’s not even Ingram’s highest total of the season thus far. This will be a tough game against Denver, but even if Ingram hits his low mark (41.75 against Toronto in the opener), that’s still over 5x value.
Dark Horses:
You guys remember Ruy Gay, right? He’s like Joe Dirt. He just keeps on keepin on. Gay isn’t at the point in his career where he can take over a game anymore, but he’s still a very solid piece of any lineup. If you’re looking for value, you can do much worse.
Cam Reddish has had a tough time sinking shots at the NBA level. He is just 7-32 from the floor in the first four games of his career. I’d consider Reddish here due to the rash of injuries to Atlanta guards. I think Reddish plays good minutes again. He’s doing a little bit of everything else, so if the shot starts falling, Reddish will be a nice value.
