Fantasy football picks: Week 9 FanDuel GPP breakdown

Allen Robinson – You are seeing several players from my bounce back article, which should not shock you as most of those players are in great spots for this week. Robinson has had his share of tough breaks this season, largely to do with the terrible play of Mitch Trubitsky. Now he gets an amazing match-up with the Eagles who give up the second-most points against receivers, ranking 20th in DVOA against the pass. I have been using receivers on this secondary all season long, and I have no intention of stopping now.

D.K Metcalf – I will assume that most people are going to use Lockett in this spot instead of D.K, and while that is a great strategy for cash games, this is not a cash game article. There is plenty to like about him, as Metcalf is second on the team in snaps at 77%, has been seeing a decent share of the targets, and is hanging around 50-70 yards per game. He could use some more big-play chances, as that has really capped his ceiling, but overall I am pretty satisfied with what we are seeing. Tampa gives up the fourth-most points against receivers, ranking 25th in DVOA against the pass. We will want exposure to this game, and we can get it at lower ownership with D.K.

Stefon Diggs – It is interesting to see Diggs fly under the radar, after several great weeks. Although the return of Thielen will surely chip into his big workload, causing a decrease in ownership. That is fine with me because I have no problem playing the hot hand, especially in a high scoring affair against Kansas City. Diggs has three straight games of 15 or more fantasy points, and at least seven targets. The Chiefs have stepped up their passing defense, but that does not mean they are unbeatable. This is the perfect time to grab Diggs while he is under the radar once again.
