Fantasy football picks: Week 9 FanDuel GPP breakdown

In this section, I will provide a section ranking my top five GPP plays on the day. This is in descending order, starting at fifth, going down to my favorite play. I will also list my “dart throw of the day” which is my favorite high upside value play.

More from DFS

We may make some changes to this format as the season goes on, drop some of the things that do not work, and add some more that I am having some success with. I will also incorporate any new tips, or tricks that I learn along the way, because I want us all to succeed, and have a great season.

I think this slate has a lot of potential, and we can go in plenty of directions with how soft the pricing is on FanDuel. I will also say that some of the popular options are still very good plays. However, if building GPP lineups, you need to take the risk and play guys that everyone else is not playing. I believe that with this article, combined with research of your own, you should have a very good shot placing near the top of your tourneys.

NFL DFS GPP Rankings:

5 – Hunter Henry

4 – Allen Robinson

3 – Le’Veon Bell

2 – Patrick Mahomes

1 – Josh Jacobs

Dart throw of the day – Jonnu Smith

I will also mention that if you are confused about how to build GPP lineups, make sure to check out our strategy article that was made specifically to teach people how to build those lineups. You can use these plays in a cash lineup as well, which is something that a lot of people who write up GPP articles will not tell you. Just because a player is lower owned, does not mean that you can’t play them in cash games. If you fully believe that somebody is a great play, I would lock them into my main lineup, as well as a GPP lineup.
