Fantasy football picks: Week 9 TNF 49ers vs. Cardinals

Jimmy Garoppolo – If you really look at Jimmy’s performances, you will notice that he has had only one good game all season. That is not how you expected this article to start out. He only has 11 touchdowns, seven interceptions, and has not reached 300 yards in any games yet. Now that all the bad stuff is out of the way, let move on to a more positive not. The Cardinals give up the most points to opposing quarterbacks, ranking 26th in passing DVOA at 21.9%. Another promising not is his big increase in completion rate, as it jumped almost 20% all the way to 81% last game. Of course, I do not expect that to be the new norm for him, but I also do expect him to have a decent game, possibly his best of the season against Arizona.

George Kittle – I will outright say this is my favorite play on the day, and it isn’t really that close. There is just so much to like about Kittle for this slate. His price tag is too cheap in my opinion, he is playing virtually every single snap, is averaging seven targets per game, and reached double-digit fantasy points in three out of his last four games. Arizona also gives up the most points in the league against tight-ends, and as we all know that is as true of a statistic as any this season. I have no problem with you locking in Kittle in every single lineup you build, regardless of if you are playing cash, or GPP’s.
