Defenses to Start

Buffalo Bills Defense vs. WSH

The Buffalo Bills have been one of the more consistent defenses to rely on in fantasy this year as they have yet to go below zero points in a single game this year. They haven’t done anything crazy good in terms of fantasy production, but they have been solid as a rock for anyone who has them rostered. Now the Bills could do something big this week as they are going up against the Washington Redskins who have been bad at all facets on offense this year. They currently rank in the bottom-half in points for (12.4/gm) and total yards (261.1/gm). None of the quarterbacks that have been placed at the helm for Washington have looked good and that is a great sign for Buffalo’s defense. This is one week where Buffalo could exceed their normal fantasy point production. Anyone who has them on their team better get ready and enjoy.

Philadelphia Eagles Defense vs. CHI

Another defense I wouldn’t have any qualms starting this week are the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s not so much that the Eagles are a fantastic defense, they’re okay, but it’s their opponent that makes them favorable. The Bears don’t pose much of a threat outside of maybe rookie David Montgomery, but even he has had his problems here and there. Quarterback Mitch Trubisky has not been playing good at all as he has failed to throw for over 250 yards in a single game played this year. The Eagles look like they will be getting into a defensive cold war with the Bears, meaning that there will be very little offensive action from either side. Start the Eagles with confidence knowing that they should most likely get you a solid eight points as the bare minimum.
