Duds

James Harden (at MEM – $10,800 on DK; $11,00 on FD): Harden will get his numbers because Harden will always get his numbers. But when you’re talking about value, there are better options below him. He’s still struggling from the field, especially from three, and while he’ll get to the line, you need him to perform much better at this salary.

Devin Booker (vs. PHI – $7,900 on DK; $8,500 on FD): Booker is coming off a rough game and has struggled to find DFS consistency this season. The Sixers, even without Embiid, are a tough matchup with their length on defense. Booker always has a high ceiling with his scoring but the goal was to take pressure off of him this year and it’s certainly worked. The team is better, his DFS prospects are not.

Lonzo Ball (at BKN – $7,100 on DK; $7,400 on FD): The matchup is good because the Nets defense doesn’t offer much resistance, but with Jrue Holiday back and Brandon Ingram not injured, Ball is the third option and his lack of scoring hurts his overall game. There is better value below him, as mentioned in previous slides.

Robert Covington (vs MIL – $5,600 on DK; $5,700 on FD): Covington has been up-and-down in recent contests and the loss of Towns should once again help him. But the Bucks defense is much tougher than the Wizards defense. This game feels like a regression for Covington after his big game.

Khris Middleton (at MIN – $6,800 on DK; $7,300 on FD): Middleton just hasn’t quite had it this season. The matchup is good as the Timberwolves will miss KAT for one more game, which hurts their defense. Middleton always has a high ceiling, but there is better value below him given his current form.
