Arizona Cardinals. Henry Ruggs III. 11. player. 32. . Wide Receiver

The Arizona Cardinals did lose to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night, but they are definitely a team that is trending in the right direction. With the first overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Cards made the decision to grab Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Kyler Murray, and he has been as good as advertised in year No. 1.

While Larry Fitzgerald is still a very productive wide receiver, and may actually have a few seasons left in him, the Cardinals may want to draft his successor in the first round next April. You can never give a young quarterback too many weapons, and in Henry Ruggs III from Alabama, they would be bringing in an explosive playmaker.

Not only would Ruggs benefit from playing with a young quarterback like Murray, but he would also be able to pick Fitzgerald’s brain early in his career. The Cardinals are building it up the right way, and adding a player like Ruggs would make this offense even more able to come up with big plays.

12. player. 50. . Defensive Tackle. Detroit Lions. Derrick Brown

The Detroit Lions had to go out to the West coast in Week 9 to take on an Oakland Raiders team that had not played in front of their home fans since Week 2. The Lions have the talent to be a playoff contender this season, but are in need of a few holes to be filled prior to the 2020 campaign.

In the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Lions should look to get better along the defensive line, and Derrick Brown from Auburn is an incredible player. He has the size and strength to push back offensive linemen on the inside, while also possessing the athletic talent needed to get after the quarterback.

Detroit is getting one of his better seasons out of quarterback Matthew Stafford, so they are definitely solid at the quarterback position. If they are to be a true contender in the NFC North, they have to be able to get more push up front on defense, and Brown will help them accomplish that immediately.
