Duds

James Harden (vs GS – $11,200 on DK; $11,500 on FD): Harden found his shooting touch against Memphis with Westbrook out of the lineup. Now it becomes a question of if Westbrook was throwing him out of rhythm. The Warriors defense should allow Harden to thrive, but he’s a risk since he hasn’t consistently shot well alongside Westbrook.

Nikola Vucevic (at DAL – $7,900 on DK; $8,600 on FD): The Magic offense remains not good and Vucevic continues to underperform. I feel like I’m beating a dead horse but it must be said. Don’t give him a second look until he can prove some type of consistency.

De’Aaron Fox (at TOR – $7,400 on DK; $8,300 on FD): Fox has been playing consistent basketball ever since he began his nightly meetings with Luke Walton. But the Raptors are going to be a tough matchup with the Kings on the road as well. And consistency is good, but you should be looking for more when it comes to the high salary players.

Julius Randle (at DET – $6,800 on DK; $7,100 on FD): Randle just isn’t giving you enough bang for your buck right now. The Pistons aren’t a bad matchup but there are better options in a similar price range and below, including Thomas Bryant. Randle has the potential to deliver a big game, it’s just not there right now.

Jabari Parker (vs CHI – $6,700 on DK; $7,100 on FD): A lot of people are going to bang on Parker because he’s going up against the Bulls, a team he dominated last season. Don’t do it. It’s a trap. He played well against the Spurs but the inconsistency should worry you, as should everyone taking him.
