Las Vegas Raiders. Isaiah Simmons. 17. player. 28. . Linebacker/Safety

When it comes to the 2019 Oakland Raiders, they are a team that is on the rise, and are playing very good football on the offensive side of the ball. In recent weeks, their defense has been playing bend-but-don’t-break football, and that is something that has to change as the team makes their move to Las Vegas.

General Manager Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden have done a tremendous job assembling talent over the past 11 months, and have turned a four-win Raiders team into a contender in the AFC West. That has been a great turnaround, but there is still work to be done, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

On defense, the Raiders have to stack talent, and a guy like Isaiah Simmons from Clemson is one of the more versatile defenders in this draft class. He can play all over the field, and adding him along with Grant Delpit early in the draft would give the Raiders more young, and talented players on a defense that is getting better every week.

46. . Wide Receiver. Indianapolis Colts. Laviska Shenault Jr.. 18. player

The Indianapolis Colts played host to the Miami Dolphins this past Sunday, and even without an injured Jacoby Brissett in the lineup, many figured the Colts would roll. Remember this is a team that was 6-2 going into that matchup, and the Dolphins only victory had come against the hapless New York Jets.

Well, the Colts ended up losing to the Dolphins in front of the home fans, as Brian Hoyer just could not get it done in Brissett’s absence. Looking ahead, this is a Colts team that needs some help at the wide receiver position, as they showed they will struggle with T.Y. Hilton out of the lineup.

One player who should be an absolute playmaker at the NFL level is Laviska Shenault Jr., who has battled injuries this season on a very bad Colorado football team. He has everything you look for in a star wideout, and plays with incredible passion, two things that Frank Reich and this offense need to add this offseason.
