DraftKings NBA Centers:

Best Bets:

There are some teams that Towns has historically not played well against. The Spurs are one of them. I look at that roster and think that Towns should be able to handle them, but somehow LMA seems to keep him under wraps. Towns is off to a great start this year, but I think there are better places to look tonight.

This is also a prime spot for the Sixers to rest Embiid. I have a feeling that’s why they held Horford out last night. They run Embiid a little more, then rest him. While he rests, Horford gets more run. If Embiid is out, Horford is a lock for his price.

Honorable Mention:

Jokic and Gobert were kind of duds last night. Nikola Vucevic is in that range tonight, and like Jokic and Gobert, has had a good run lately. If Embiid plays, I love Vucevic for the price. If Embiid sits, I don’t think I want to run Vuce out there against Horford.

Who does Clint Capela think he is, Andre Drummond? Capela has back to back 20 rebound games. He’s still not heavily involved in the offense, but Capela is efficient when he is. The Clippers aren’t a great matchup, but Capela is destroying value right now. He is averaging 7x value over the last three games.

There was a lot of buzz about Thomas Bryant at the end of last season, but it hasn’t really carried over to this season. Bryant is not the most consistent guy, but with all of the Boston injuries up front, this looks like a nice matchup for Bryant. That said, we saw Porzingis get completely dominated by Boston the other night. There is still a lot of risk attached.

Dark Horses:

P.J. Washington is not quite the value play that he was early on, but he has been remarkably consistent for a rookie. Washington has at least 20 DraftKings points in every game and has six straight between 24 and 30 DraftKings points. There isn’t a lot of upside, but Washington is a strong cash play.

Enes Kanter may crash the rotation earlier than originally though. Theis got the start on Monday even with Kanter back, but with Theis out tonight, the Celtics aren’t going to start Robert Williams over Kanter. Kanter is starting on the cheap against Washington. He is at least worth a look here on the cheap.

Toronto is chock full of value again. Chris Boucher had another strong game against a strong team in the Clippers. I don’t care that he’s only playing half the game. I care that Boucher is putting up 8x value. He wont at tonight’s price, but 6x value is still very possible.
