DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

My gut feeling is that Kawhi rests tonight and Paul George makes his season debut. I fully expect George to be on a minutes limit, which really makes it almost impossible for him to hit value with his salary still that high. Clippers value may be the way to go here. I may use Kawhi if he plays, but if George makes his debut alongside Kawhi, I’m going to avoid this whole situation.

I’m not really interested in DFS darlings Jabari Parker or Ingram here. These are tough matchups. Parker could be a solid play against Phoenix since he still had a decent game against Denver, but his price is up to the point where decent wont cut it. There are better places to look. Ingram is slightly intriguing if the knee is okay and if Kawhi rests.

Honorable Mention:

Is someone going to slow Will Barton down? If it happens, it likely wont be tonight against Brooklyn. Barton has at least 30 DraftKings points in all but one game this year and has topped 36 in each of the last five. He’s a borderline elite play for $6,600.

Marcus Morris is getting a whole lot of usage here, but he hasn’t been the model of efficiency. That makes him a sizeable risk with the price up this high. Barton is a much safer play. Find the $200 to make this happen. This isn’t exactly a great matchup for Morris either.

Dark Horses:

We don’t need to ride the cold streak of Kelly Oubre in DFS like we have to in season long leagues. It’s not a terrible idea to go with a guy like Dario Saric, who is actually making shots. As long as he is, Saric will continue to siphon minutes off of Oubre. This whole situation is a big of a risk, but the price on Saric makes him a lot easier to take a chance on.

Kenrich Williams is still a solid value choice, but he has little upside. I can still see using him in cash games as a value play against the Clippers, but I wouldn’t touch him in GPP formats right now.
