3. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are frequent visitors to this list, but unlike everyone else this week they are coming off of a victory. After a string of brutal losses, the Bears desperately needed to beat the Detroit Lions last week and they found a way to get into the win column.

Sure, the Lions were playing without Matthew Stafford, but a win is a win regardless of who plays quarterback for the opposing team. Even with Jeff Driskel under center for the Lions, the Bears struggled a bit before finally pulling away late to get the win.

The positive was that Mitchell Trubisky looked much better with the football than he has over the past several games. While Trubisky’s overall numbers were nothing to write home about, the Bears have to be encouraged by the fact he tossed three touchdowns against Detroit.

Next up for the Bears is a trip to Los Angeles to take on the Rams on Sunday Night Football. This is a rematch from a late season SNF matchup a year ago, where the Bears’ defense shut down Jared Goff and company at a chilly Soldier Field.

The Rams haven’t looked good so far this season, so the Bears need to take advantage and pick up a win. In the tight NFC playoff picture, Chicago can’t afford to drop many more games if they hope to get back to the postseason.
