Duds

Andre Drummond (at CHA – $8,600 on DK; $10,300 on FD): With Blake Griffin back, Drummond just isn’t providing the value he previously did. His rebounding and scoring are both down upon Blake’s return. And his salary remains high, though it has dropped. Still, he’s too costly for the value he’s currently providing.

Buddy Hield (at LA – $6,800 on DK; $7,000 on FD): The Lakers defense is too good and the salary is too high for Hield. He’s hasn’t performed well for the majority of the season and his salary remains above the line. Until Hield can prove some kind of consistency, there’s no reason to take him. Especially against this Lakers squad.

Draymond Green (vs BOS – $5,300 on DK; $6,900 on FD): Draymond’s salary remains too high for what he brings to the table. He still doesn’t score enough on his own and the assists are down but Russell isn’t zipping around like Steph and Klay, leading to easy assists for him. Until the salary drops, there’s no reason to take him.

Russell Westbrook (vs IND – $8,400 on DK; $9,500 on FD): There’s a chance Westbrook ends up sitting. And obviously if he sits you don’t want to play him unless you really like living on the edge. But if he ends up playing, he’s still not exactly worth it since it’s the Harden show in Houston.

DeMar DeRozan (at ORL – $7,300 on DK; $7,800 on FD): This is a tough matchup and DeRozan is too inconsistent for my liking. He puts up decent enough numberd, but the numbers aren’t large enough to justify this salary. And given the matchup, there is far better value below him.
