No. 2 Ohio State at No. 15 Michigan (Nov. 30)

The Ohio State-Michigan game needs no introduction. This is arguably the most high-profile rivalry game that college football has to offer. It’s also a rivalry that the Buckeyes have dominated since Jim Harbaugh arrived at Ann Arbor. And with the way the Wolverines have disappointed overall this season in comparison to Ohio State’s dominance, that doesn’t look to stop.

Even still, Michigan is far from an untalented group and they will undoubtedly be hungry in this matchup. Playing in what should be a rocking Big House, the Wolverines could truly be boiling down this season and whether it’s a success or failure to how they fare in this matchup.

Despite the fact that the Buckeyes are the better team based on what we’ve seen, that mentality and nothing-to-lose approach for Michigan could make this game exceptionally dangerous for Ohio State. Throw in the rivalry and bad blood at play and all bets are off to see if Ohio State can (if they get past Penn State) go perfect in the regular season.

No. 10 Oklahoma at No. 22 Oklahoma State (Nov. 30)

As mentioned when talking about the Week 12 matchup between the Oklahoma Sooners and Baylor, Lincoln Riley’s team has to start earning style points. They can’t continue to just win games against Big 12 opponents if they’re going to have a shot at making the College Football Playoff. The conference simply isn’t strong enough for that to suffice.

That especially applies to Bedlam as the Sooners travel to Stillwater to face the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Led by Chuba Hubbard, the Cowboys have been dangerous, even if inconsistent, this season. And with the way Oklahoma’s defense has looked against the run this year, facing Hubbard is a scary proposition.

For the Sooners to remain alive in the CFP race, they not only need to win against their rivals in Stillwater but they need to shut down Hubbard and race to a blowout win. Outside of potentially the Big 12 title game, this will be their last chance at a signature win and, to make it such, they need to grab the committee’s attention with how they win to have a shot at the top four.
