Every team in college football’s AP Top 25 played in Week 12 and that should lead to an interesting Week 13 poll. Where will everyone land?

For the first time in quite some time, each AP Top 25 team was in action and that made Saturday one of the most anticipated of the season.

College football fans got a heavy dose of ranked action as the day started with a big game in Happy Valley between Penn State and an Indiana team that recently cracked the Top 25 for the first time in decades. The Hoosiers hung tough, but it was Sean Clifford‘s legs that saved the day with KJ Hamler injured. Still, Indiana proved some doubters wrong.

Mississippi State hosted Alabama in what looked to be a trap game, but the Crimson Tide dominated, but not before losing Tua Tagovailoa to a serious injury. He’s already been ruled out for the season and that could mean Alabama’s playoff hopes are no longer present.

Florida and Wisconsin each went on the road against middle-of-the-pack conference foes and picked up double-digit wins. The Badgers’ defense, however, is in the midst of a slump while Florida’s dominated again.

Notre Dame shook off plenty of doubt to take down a tough Navy team in South Bend, 52-20.

The day got a little crazier in the afternoon slate with Georgia hanging on for dear life with a victory at Auburn, 21-14, to clinch the SEC East and keep its playoff hopes alive.

Iowa State ended Texas’ hopes for a Big 12 title, on the other hand, taking the Longhorns down to the wire and winning on a last-second field goal. Across the state, the Hawkeyes of Iowa took care of an undefeated Minnesota team to end the Gophers’ playoff hopes and bid for a perfect season. Still, the Big Ten West is Minnesota’s to lose.

And Clemson continued to do Clemson things, but surely we won’t hear about it because, well, there’s no respect for the ACC. The Tigers absolutely dismantled Wake Forest 52-3.

The biggest game of the week had to be Baylor vs. Oklahoma and the Bears raced out to a 28-3 lead before the Sooners closed the gap. Jalen Hurts struggled early on, but everyone knew Oklahoma was going to find a way to fight back and make some noise. In the end, Oklahoma tied things up in the fourth before kicking the game-winning field goal to complete the epic comeback.

LSU, the nation’s No. 1 team, struggled defensively against Ole Miss in the second half, but Joe Burrow strengthened his Heisman campaign with another 400-yard game in a win. Will the Tigers remain No. 1? Hint: yes.

What will the AP Top 25 rankings look like after a crazy Week 12?

While these rankings don’t have anything to do with the committee’s decision on playoff rankings come Tuesday, they give a good outline of what the Top 25 could look like.
