NBA DFS – studs, scrubs, and duds for November 16

Jabari Parker (at LAC – $5,800 on DK; $7,400 on FD): Parker has been playing well but this is a tough matchup. The Clippers will have both their stars healthy and we could really see how dangerous their defense is right off the bat. There’s better value below Parker given the Saturday matchups.

Kristaps Porzingis (vs TOR- $7,000 on DK; $8,600 on FD): Porzingis was good against the Knicks because of the revenge factor but he’s struggling with consistency this season. And going up against the Raptors isn’t the best way to find some consistency. The Raptors are weak against the position, which is a concern, but I’m going to trust their team defense and Porzingis lack of consistency.

Kawhi Leonard (vs ATL – $9,900 on DK; $10,700 on FD): Kawhi will get his numbers. But I see him taking more of a backseat in this game with everybody trying to figure things out now that the two stars are in the lineup. And you can’t afford a sit back at this price. There’s better and less questionable value below him.

CJ McCollum (at SA – $6,500 on DK; $7,200 on FD): McCollum has been better in recent games, and that’s a good sign. But I’m still not trusting of him just yet. The Spurs are very good against the position and McCollum remains too streaky.

Trae Young (at LAC – $9,400 on DK; $10,200 on FD): Trae was down in his last game, and while I do trust him to bounce back, this will be a rough matchup. And Trae is one of the top salaries on the night. There is some good value below him and with how good I expect the Clippers defense to be in this one, I worry about Trae.
