DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

I don’t make a habit out of using guards against the Magic, but as with Holiday, I’m not sure the matchup matters all that much right now. Brad Beal has been the Washington offense for over a year now. Just go with it. Beal has one of the higher ceilings on the slate despite the matchup.

Once again, the Pelicans will be operating with a skeleton crew, so Jrue Holiday is going to have high usage percentages. Holiday struggled against the Heat last night, but it are more than he just conceded to the hot hand. Holiday is going to be the best player on the floor in this game, and it’s not even close. The only thing to worry about here is a blowout.

Honorable Mention:

Evan Fournier has at least 39 DraftKings points in three of the last four games. Don’t be shocked if he cracks 40 against the Wizards. The pending return of Isaac worries me some, but Fournier is still one of the better offensive players on this team.

After an awful start, Gary Harris is starting to come around. Harris has three straight games of 25 or more DraftKings points and has played at least 35 minutes in those games. The minutes can’t possibly go any higher, but Harris could see a lot more shots if Barton is ruled out. Harris is a good play regardless, but he becomes a staple if Barton is out.

Dark Horses:

Well, if we’re going off of my volume theory, Jordan Poole has to be mentioned. The volume is there. He’s just a poor shooter. However, Poole is one of the better rebounders at his position on this slate. That helps give him a decent floor even if he misses a dozen shots.

The injury to Avery Bradley opens up some minutes for KCP, but that doesn’t always mean a lot. KCP can score with the best of him, but he does almost nothing else. That limits his upside, but for just $3,700, KCP is a sure value tonight.

It’s rookie roulette at the bottom of SG. Both Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Cam Reddish put up good numbers last night. In the case of NAW, it was great numbers. If Jackson is out, I like NAW a lot once again. If not, we can flip to Reddish and get 8x value instead of 11x.
