NBA DFS – Studs, scrubs, and duds for November 18
Duds
Chris Paul (at LAC – $6,600 on DK; $7,000 on FD): It’s a revenge game for CP3 (who will always hate the Clippers it seems), SGA and Gallinari after the latter two were traded. But I don’t see all three having a big game. And I’m picking CP3 as the one who falters. Gallinari is the one I’m most confident in having a strong game of the three.
Mike Conley (vs MIN – $6,400 on DK; $6,400 on FD): Conley isn’t at a bad salary but you still need more from him. And he’s just not giving you that right now. He’s not going to hurt you, which is the good news. But you want more and there are better options on a loaded a night of option.
DeMar DeRozan (at DAL – $7,100 on DK; $7,600 on FD): The Mavericks are weak against the position, which is the good news. The bad news is DeRozan isn’t offering much right now. Much like Conley, he probably won’t hurt you too bad, but you need more out of him. And it’s not there right now. He’s struggling from the field and isn’t doing quite enough elsewhere.
Terry Rozier (at TOR – $6,300 on DK; $7,200 on FD): Rozier is inconsistent and now he’s up against a tough Raptors defense. He has a high scoring game in him because I don’t see it in this game. He will likely under deliver at this salary so find value elsewhere.
Lauri Markkanen (vs MIL – $5,900 on DK; $6,800 on FD): Markkanen still isn’t giving you quite enough at the salary. He’s too good and contributes in multiple ways to really struggle but once again, you need more from the position. And with so many options, there is value with better matchups.
