DraftKings college football running back picks November 19

Top Tier:

Tre Harbison ran wild on Toledo last week, and he should do the same to an Eastern Michigan team that is allowing 193.7 rushing yards per game. Harbison is one of my key pieces here tonight. I’ll have him in every lineup.

Bowling Green held Andrew Clair out last week, and that could be his fate here again. The issue with college football is kickoff doesn’t happen until about five minutes past the hour, and the contests still lock on the hour. In the case of CeeDee Lamb on Saturday, those in the booth didn’t even know he wasn’t playing until halfway through the first quarter. That makes it really hard to play with anyone having an injury designation in the college game.

Assuming Clair is held out, Bryson Denley should be in for another good game. Denley racked up 105 yards on just 14 carries last week because the Falcons got blown out and abandoned the run. That could happen again here, but Denley could still have himself a solid game.

Middle Tier:

De’Montre Tuggle has six rushing touchdowns in the last four games. Even though Rourke still outrushes Tuggle, he’s the guy the Bobcats look for to finish off drives.

Shaq Vann carried many a lineup last week. He could again this week. The NIU defense has not been as strong defending the run as usual. Vann is going to see a lot of carries. If you take out the Buffalo game, Vann has 65 carries for 349 yards and six touchdowns over the last three games. That kind of production is worth paying for.

Bargain Shoppers:

As usual, if you really want to save at RB, you have to start looking at backups. There aren’t as many ground heavy teams out there tonight, but there are a couple of backups worth considering. O’Shaan Allison caught four passes last week and had more rushing yards than Tuggle. A lot of that was on a 42 yard run, but the Bobcats are making a concerted effort to include him.
