NBA DraftKings – top value small forwards

Kyle Anderson vs. Golden State Warriors ($4,200)

Kyle Anderson should be in line for some more minutes tonight versus a very bad Golden State Warriors team. On the downside, Anderson is averaging just 21 minutes per game with seven points, four rebounds, and three assists per game. He also has an usage rate of 14% while averaging .92 fantasy points per game. One more positive side to rostering the $4,200 Kyle Anderson is that the Memphis Grizzlies play at the sixth fastest pace with 108.7 possessions per game.

With the Golden State Warriors on the defensive end of things, they allow opposing small forwards to average 20 points, nine rebounds, and five assists per game. The Warriors are also giving up 40.75 fantasy points to the small forward position. Now it’s not as bad as the fantasy points that they give up to other positions, but it’s still another spot to attack for a low salary price.

Cameron Johnson vs. Sacramento Kings ($3,700)

Cameron Johnson has now put together four straight strong performances and is still at a low price of $3,700. Plus the Phoenix Suns also get a matchup against the Sacramento Kings, who are giving up 42.88 fantasy points to the small forward position. The Kings only give up 17 real points to the position while allowing them to average eight rebounds and three assists. The other upside that the Sacramento Kings play at such a slow pace of 101 possessions per game while the Phoenix Suns play at 108 possessions, which calls for blowout potential.

Johnson is currently holding a usage rating of 19% while averaging .84 fantasy points per minute and 17 minutes per game. His minutes have been holding around the twenty minutes mark, but with a match-up like this, he should be able to see a few more minutes above the usual.
