Cornerback. Kansas City Chiefs. Paulson Adebo. 25. player. 124.

With a loss on Monday night, the Kansas City Chiefs would not only fall out of first place in the AFC West, but would head into their bye week with a sour taste in their mouth. Kansas City has been the gold standard in the division for quite some  time, but the Oakland Raiders are right on their heels, and the two meet up in two weeks when the Chiefs come off their bye week inside Arrowhead Stadium.

For Kansas City, despite the fact that they are in first place in the AFC West, they have not played consistent football. The defense can be downright atrocious at times, and had it not been for Philip Rivers basically gifting them interceptions on Monday night, they likely would have lost that game against the Chargers.

Looking ahead, they have to bolster the secondary, and bringing in a cornerback like Paulson Adebo would give them a rookie who can come in and contribute right away. They added talent at safety in Juan Thornhill during the 2019 NFL Draft, and with the addition of Adebo, they can finally start building this defensive backfield back up with youth.

player. 16. . Defensive Lineman. Buffalo Bills. Raekwon Davis. 26

The Buffalo Bills knew they had to take care of business on Sunday, as they were facing a Miami Dolphins team that had been playing better football as of late. Well, the Bills did what they needed to do, going to South Beach and dominating on both sides of the ball, while running their record to 7-3 on the season.

Fully entrenched as a Wild Card team in the AFC, the Bills are getting better every week, and quarterback Josh Allen has not been a liability in year No. 2. Up front on the defensive line, rookie Ed Oliver has been solid, and despite how well he has played, that does not mean the Bills shouldn’t use another early pick up front on that side of the ball.

Raekwon Davis may be too good a player to pass up at No. 26 overall, as he is a versatile defensive lineman who can play both inside, or out. The Bills need to continue to build up  this defense, which has been downright elite at times, and if Allen can continue to grow as a passer,  they will have quite a young nucleus in Buffalo.
