Offensive Tackle. Denver Broncos. Tristan Wirfs. 7. player. 45.

The Denver Broncos could be in the business of getting a new quarterback during the 2020 NFL Draft, but I have really liked what I have seen from Brandon Allen since taking over for Joe Flacco. The kid hung in there against a tough Minnesota Vikings defense on the road this past weekend, and has the guts to be a legitimate starter in this league for many years.

With a quarterback already on their roster, the Broncos can attack their biggest need this offseason with their first round pick in 2020, and that is their offensive line. The unit is absolutely atrocious, and no matter who you put under center, they are never going to have long-term success, or health if they are continuously running for their lives.

Tristan Wirfs from Iowa is considered one of the better offensive tackle prospects in this draft class, and though Denver used a recent first rounder on an offensive tackle, they have to do so again next April. Allen has the talent to be the answer at quarterback, but if he cannot get better protection, he is never going to reach his full potential.

player. 44. . Cornerback. Atlanta Falcons. Jeffrey Okudah. 8

The Atlanta Falcons are suddenly playing some  good football, and on Sunday, they went on the road and absolutely thrashed division rival Carolina in front of their home fans. They are getting good play on both sides of the ball, including the defense, who tormented Kyle Allen all game long in their 29-3 victory.

While the defense played outstanding football this past weekend, they have some issues they need to take care of next offseason, including in the defensive backfield. One area they should look to target is at the cornerback spot, and a guy like Jeffrey Okudah from Ohio State would be a great addition their secondary.

Okudah is the best coverage cornerback in this draft class, and the Falcons have already made a commitment to Desmond Trufant, and have a good young player in Isaiah Oliver back there as well. You need good cornerback play, especially in a pass-happy NFC South division, and the Falcons could strike gold if Okudah falls to No. 8 overall.
