Los Angeles Chargers. Jalen Hurts. 11. player. 13. . Quarterback

The Los Angeles Chargers dominated the Kansas City Chiefs on both sides of the ball on Monday night, but in the end,  they came away with a seven-point loss to their division rival in Mexico City. The saddest part of this game was how many chances this team had, and how many times legendary signal-caller Philip Rivers threw the game away.

Look, Rivers has been a stellar player in this league for a long time, but it is definitely time for the franchise to go in a new direction. His contract is coming to an end, plus he is 38-years old, so it would make sense for the Chargers to use an early first round draft choice on one of the premier quarterbacks in this draft class.

Since heading to Oklahoma from Alabama, Jalen Hurts has become a much better pocket passer, and he has that added dynamic of getting plays done with his legs, something Rivers could never do. He is going to be a solid quarterback at the NFL level, and as the Chargers move into their new building, it is time to turn the page at the most important position in sports.

52. . Cornerback. Jacksonville Jaguars. Kristian Fulton. 12. player

The Jacksonville Jaguars have had quite a roller coaster of a season in 2019, and on Sunday, they were embarrassed by a division rival in the Indianapolis Colts. The bottom line is, this is a Jaguars team that has a lot of holes on it, and it is a good thing that they hold multiple first round picks in 2020.

With their first of two first rounders, the Jaguars should look to try and replace former All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who they traded away to Los Angeles this season. Ramsey is one of the better players at his position in the NFL, so replacing him is not going to be easy, but Kristian Fulton from LSU is a good start.

Fulton is one of the more NFL-ready defensive backs in this draft class, and while he is no Ramsey, he should be a solid starter for this team in Year 1. The Jaguars finally got Nick Foles back, and he should be able to win them some games, but the middle of the first round is likely where they will end up on draft night.
