. Cornerback. Philadelphia Eagles. Trevon Diggs. 15. player. 54

The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a rough loss at the hands of the New England Patriots, losing by only seven points in front of the home fans inside Lincoln Financial on Sunday. For the Eagles, they are struggling to stay relevant in a very deep NFC, and the NFC East crown is slowly starting to fade away as well.

For the Eagles to continue to be one of the more dominant teams in the NFC, as they won the Super Bowl a few years back, they need to get better in the secondary. One player who they should keep an eye on during the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft is Trevon Diggs from Alabama, whose brother just happens to be Minnesota Vikings star wideout Stefon Diggs.

Diggs is the kind of cornerback you can build a secondary around, as he can take away one side of the field, and he has tremendous hands. The Eagles have the pieces in place on the offensive side of the ball, and if they can continue to get better on defense, the race for the crown in the NFC East should become a perennial battle between them and the Dallas Cowboys.

Miami Dolphins. Jedrick Wills. 16. player. 59. . Offensive Lineman

The Miami Dolphins have three first round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, and that should help them tremendously with their rebuild. This is a team playing hard for first-year head coach Brian Flores, who has preached discipline since he got in South Beach, and the returns are starting to trend in the right direction.

After selecting a franchise quarterback early in round one, it would make sense for the Dolphins to get a player who can protect him for the foreseeable future. One player who is starting to shoot up draft boards is Jedrick Wills Jr. from Alabama, who is another one of those Alabama offensive linemen that can line up all over the line.

Miami can turn this thing around in a hurry, as we have seen with the Oakland Raiders this season, going from four wins, to a playoff contender with their three first round picks. The Dolphins have the right head coach in place, and if they can land one of the marquee quarterbacks in this draft class, they should be able to start playing meaningful football sooner than later.
