DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:

All of the guard matchups are tough on paper. That’s not true at forward, so this may be a slate to pay for bigs. Nikola Mirotic has been great since returning to Europe and he has a strong matchup with Fenerbahce. Mirotic and Kyle Kuric are dominating the minutes up front. Kuric is a very strong value play so you can pay up for Mirotic.

More from FanSided

Remember when I said that the Fenerbahce forwards helped pick up the slack for de Colo? Derrick Williams and Jan Vesely also have a great matchup against the Barcelona front. I wouldn’t play Vesely for the same reason I haven’t used him in all my years of playing EuroLeague. He’s not consistent at all. Not even a little bit. On the other hand, Derrick Williams will be in all of my lineups.

Tornike Shengelia is carrying the load for the Baskonia frontcourt right now. Youssoupha Fall is the rim protector, but he does little else. Shengelia is the guy you want. Fall is risky because you are relying almost solely on his defensive prowess. However, I have no issues taking a chance on him for the price in GPP formats.

This is a horrible matchup for the CSKA front as Baskonia has allowed the fewest fantasy points to forwards so far this year. To me, that takes Johannes Voigtmann completely out of play. However, Kyle Hines and Andrey Vorontsevich are reasonably priced enough to still take a chance with. It’s a two game slate. I’m not a fan of writing any unit completely off.

The inconsistent play of Vesely has led to more meaningful playing time for Nikola Kalinic. He has responded with 47 DraftKings points over the last two rounds. We need that kind of value on this slate.
