DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,200): The potential for position scarcity is about the only reason to use Giannis here. The Bucks should blow out Atlanta. Giannis will likely hit 50. We’ve seen him do it in as few as 20 minutes before. But I don’t think he gets us what we need for this price.

Jimmy Butler (7,700): The Clippers are still limiting George’s minutes, so this is a tentative play. If Kawhi plays, I wont use either of them. If Kawhi is out, George is priced right to pounce. If Kawhi does play that leaves Jimmy Butler in this same price range in a great matchup against Cleveland. Actually, forget messing with this. Just go with Jimmy.

Honorable Mention:

Tobias Harris ($6,200): This looks low for someone playing the Knicks. Harris is never the top option on this team, but he has proven that he can put up good numbers even if he’s not. Harris has at least 33 DraftKings points in five of the last six games and eight of the last ten. More often than not, Harris is worth the price.

Draymond Green ($6,000): Last night was what I expected to see when the Warriors started Draymond at point. Double digits in assists and rebounds, but only eight points. Still, he put up 42 DraftKings points. This matchup isn’t going to be nearly as fruitful for Draymond, but I can still see him putting up strong numbers for this price.

Eric Paschall ($5,900): Paschall is probably the best scorer on this team unless Burks gets hot. The Warriors were remarkably balanced with the exception of point Draymond last night. At any rate, Paschall is a very solid play in this tier. He’s probably not going to hurt you and has good upside.

Dark Horses:

Donte DiVincenzo ($4,700): It looks like I was two games early on Donte. DiVincenzo has 58.5 DraftKings points starting for Middleton over the last two games. The matchups don’t get much better than his against the Hawks tonight. It seems as though DiVincenzo’s value and role have stabilized. He looks like an excellent value play tonight.

Dorian Finney-Smith ($4,600): DFS had the best statistical game of his career on Monday against the Spurs. The depleted Warriors aren’t really going to stop anyone. DFS gets plenty of minutes and puts up solid stats all around. You can do worse for a value play.

Nicolas Batum ($4,400): Batum struggled against the Raptors, but that’s not much of a surprise. The surprise is that Batum is just 2-8 from the floor combined in the two games since his return. That highlights how good his other numbers are, but it also highlights how high the ceiling is once he starts knocking down shots again.
