NBA DraftKings – top valued small forwards

Royce O’Neale versus Minnesota Timberwolves ($3,900)

It’s easy to target the Minnesota Timberwolves as they are giving up close to the top five most fantasy points to opposing small forwards. They are currently allowing opposing small forwards to average 22 points, eight rebounds, and four assists per game. They are also giving up 44.43 fantasy points to the position.

While all of that is good, Royce O’Neale is currently at a very low usage rate of 8%. The minutes are there as he is averaging 28 minutes per game, but just six points, four rebounds and two assists. His value needed tonight is just 19.5 fantasy points.  He has exceeded his value in his past two games with 22 and 23.3 fantasy points.  Like I’ve mentioned, the minutes are there, but it comes down to can Royce O’Neale perform to reach 5x value on this deep slate.

Glen Robinson III versus Dallas Mavericks ($4.400)

I know we loving talking about playing against the Golden State Warriors, but tonight Glen Robinson III is in a tremendous spot and at a very low salary price of $4,400. He has been the bright spot of this Warriors injury-plagued team as he is averaging 31 minutes with 10 points, five rebounds and two assists. He is currently averaging 22.6 fantasy points per game with a usage rate of 14%. With all of the injuries and dry spots on this roster, Robinson stands out.

With how good the Dallas Mavericks are, they are actually giving up the second most fantasy points to opposing small forwards with 50.66 per game. They allow them to average a double double per game with 23 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. With the Warriors being so bad, they will actually be trying to keep up with this Mavericks squad, which gives Glen Robinson III a perfect opportunity.
