DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Luka Doncic ($11,400): This guy isn’t even old enough to drink. He’s 20 years old. Think about that for a minute. The last guy to dominate like this at that age was probably LeBron. KAT and Davis were good, but not this good. Doncic put up 75 DraftKIngs points in 26 minutes in the blowout of the Warriors. Do you think Cleveland can stop him? Yeah, me either…..

Trae Young ($9,400): I would normally be off of Young here since he hasn’t topped 47 DraftKings points in ten days, but he racked up 62.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Detroit. That may have been a fluke. Detroit likes to slow it down and basically make a mess of the game. Usually players like Young don’t flourish in those situations, so I understand a fade here.

Honorable Mention:

Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,600): I’ll be honest. It’s hard to pay this price for Dinwiddie. He has proven himself with Kyrie out, putting up 127 DraftKings points in the three games. That’s good enough for almost 6x value even at this inflated price. The issue is we are used to seeing Dinwiddie as a backup, right? Well, he can score and he’s a good passer. There’s not much more we can ask for. Wrap your head around it. Dinwiddie is worth the price tonight, though his upside is limited with his price this high.

Mike Conley ($6,500): Conley doesn’t stand out. He never really has. However, he’s one of the more consistent DFS plays you’ll find. He does so many things well that he has a pretty high floor. The Jazz didn’t blow out Golden State the first time around. If this game stays close, Conley will be right around 6x value again.

Kendrick Nunn ($6,200): Nunn with start with Winslow missing another game. He was a bit of a disappointment on Wednesday, but that’s because the game didn’t stay close. Nunn still had a respectable 22.5 DraftKings points in 25 minutes. If Nunn plays the 35+ that he was seeing before that, he’s going to have a shot at 6x value.

Dark Horse:

Goran Dragic ($5,600): This Heat backcourt is loaded, but the role for Dragic is well defined. 25-28 minutes and he clears 5x value. There isn’t much for upside here, but I have no issues using Dragic for value in cash games. We’re going to need it to pay up for one of the expensive guys.

Rajon Rondo ($4,600): I was very disappointed that Rondo didn’t knock CP3 out on Tuesday. There’s always tonight! Anyway, Rondo still frustrated Paul, holding him to just four points. I expect Rondo to do much of the same tonight. If he can knock down a couple more shots, Rondo could clear 30 DraftKings points, which makes him an outstanding bargain in this range.

Brad Wanamaker ($4,300): I don’t know if Wanamaker’s bench success is rooted in Kemba’s struggles or not, but at this point, Boston would be foolish to cut his minutes. Wanamaker has 53.5 DraftKings points in 57 minutes over the last two games. That’s a massive bargain for this price point.
