Early DraftKings college football wide receiver picks November 23

Top Tier:

No receiver on this slate is more critical to the team than James Proche for SMU. Devin Duvernay is a close second considering he leads the nation in receptions per game. If you somehow have money left to spend up art receiver, those are the top options.

Michael Pittman has at least 140 receiving yards in three of the last four games. Only Oregon held him under that mark, but Pittman still had a touchdown in that game. Slovis has missile lock on Pittman right now, meaning he has the highest ceiling of anyone on the slate.

When there are this many good wideouts at the top, the best way to separate is to start looking at matchups. Texas’s pass defense has been gouged this year because of all the injuries in the secondary. Denzel Mims is by far Baylor’s most productive and talented receiver. On top of that, he’s $1100 less than Proche.

Middle Tier:

If I trusted that Memphis was going to throw, I would use Damonte Coxie. I know Louisville will throw, so I’m going to use Chatarius Atwell instead. Atwell has 374 yards on 17 receptions and three touchdowns in the last three games.

Even though Pittman has had some massive games lately, Amon-Ra St. Brown still has 25 receptions for 374 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the last four games. That’s not a bad consolation prize, especially when you consider that he’s $1800 less than Pittman.

I’m a big Darnell Mooney fan, but Tulane just isn’t throwing much lately. If you believe they’re going to throw, I like the idea of pairing him with McMillan, but I wouldn’t run Mooney naked. I would much rather run with Stephon Robinson, even in a tougher matchup. I think Kansas is going to have to throw here.

Bargain Shoppers:

Dez Fitzpatrick got back on the map last week, but I’m still using Charlie Kolar for the same price. Kolar has five touchdowns in the last four games. He is the Iowa State red zone offense right now.

Dillon Stoner has 59.3 DraftKings points over the last two games with Tylan Wallace out. If you don’t use Stoner, you don’t like money. If you don’t like money, what are you doing playing DFS?

George Campbell has 187 of his 377 receiving yards over the last two games with Jarret Doege under center. He’s the West Virginia receiver that you want today.

The only Penn State or A&M players that I would consider here are tight ends Jalen Wydermyer and Pat Freiermuth.
