If there is one weakness to Bayern’s roster, it is their defense. The injuries to Niklas Sule and Lucas Hernandez has created a large void at center-back. With Jerome Boateng suspended Flick will have to create another non-tradition center-back pairing. In his first game, Flick started left-back David Alaba and defensive midfielder Javi Martinez at center-back and moved Alphonso Davies from left-wing to left-back. Bayern have struggled in their five away games this season, conceding 10 goals and could be vulnerable at the back.
