DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,700): Irving will be out for the next couple of games as well, so Dinwiddie remains the guy. The price still looks high, but Dinwiddie has at least 5x value even at this price in every game with Kyrie out. The Knicks are solid on the perimeter, but I still don’t see Dinwiddie coming up short here. He’s as solid a play as you’ll find.

Jamal Murray ($7,300): Since a disaster of a game against the Nets ten days ago, Murray has lit up the scoreboard. He has 143.25 DraftKings points over the last three games. Murray put up 43.5 DraftKings points against the Suns earlier this year with Rubio active. Murray feels like a strong play regardless of Rubio’s status.

Honorable Mention:

Lonzo Ball ($5,000): Ball played his full 25 minute allotment last night and put up a solid 26.5 DraftKings points on the Jazz. The hip seems fine, but there is always a chance that the Pelicans hold Ball out in a back to back. Even if they don’t, Ball is only getting 25 minutes again. That kills his upside, but Ball should still hit 5x value. That’s good for cash games.

Patrick Beverley ($4,800): Beverley followed up his career game against Boston on Wednesday with an 11.75 point dud on Friday in which he fouled out in just 19 minutes. Honestly, Beverley hasn’t hit value often this year at all. He’s a sizeable risk on this team. However, the matchups don’t get any better than this and Beverley’s price is low enough to work in almost anywhere. He’s worth the risk with the high upside he has.

Dark Horse:

Ish Smith ($4,600): Washington’s rotation plans are to go with the hot hand. Smith is outplaying Isaiah Thomas by a large margin right now. Ish has 66.5 DraftKings points over the last two games. Cory Joseph has been a really good defender, so part of me wants to avoid this entire situation. However, value is scarce on this slate and Smith looks good right now.

Frank Ntilikina ($4,500): The Knicks keep running Ntilikina out there and he is finally starting to produce something for fantasy in all of those minutes. With Payton still out and DSJ unable to gain traction in Fizdale’s rotations, Ntilikina is a strong value pick based on playing time. On a per-minute basis, Dennis Smith is still running circles around him. If for some reason DSJ starts, use him. That said, the Knicks wouldn’t be the Knicks if they actually played the best players they had.
