DraftKings NBA picks November 24: Niiiiii-kola!
By Mike Marteny
DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:
Best Bets:
Brandon Ingram ($8,400): Forget the matchup. Brandon Ingram has been producing against everyone. Only Denver has been able to hold him under 42 DraftKings points in a full game (he only played 13 minutes against the Thunder on November 2 before leaving the game). This wont be a ceiling game for Ingram, but I would be surprised if he didn’t hit value.
Honorable Mention:
Davis Bertans ($6,000): The Wizards are going to keep running Bertans because he helps replenish the points the rest of the team gives up on the defensive end. Bertans has been the most consistent scorer outside of Beal over the last two weeks or so. he is growing into his own for the Wizards. The Kings aren’t bad up front, but I don’t see them locking down Bertans either.
Nemanja Bjelica ($6,000): Bjelica is mostly unheralded, but he’s one of the more consistent fantasy assets out there. He doesn’t have much of a ceiling. This is still a team dominated by guards. However, he’ll get nice numbers for as long as his price is in this range.
Dark Horses:
Frank Kaminsky ($4,600): If Baynes is out again, it’s worth taking another spin with Frank the Tank. His minutes are solid, and though Frank isn’t your typical center, all it takes is a little hot shooting for him to blow past value. Kaminsky is more potential than realized value right now, but so long as he’s getting minutes, he’s a worthwhile risk.
Bobby Portis ($4,200): Words can’t describe just how much I despise the Knicks and their moronic rotations. I know they’re trying to lose, but come on. Can’t we do something about this? Take Portis for example. He plays less than half of every game yet still blows past 20 DraftKings points almost every night. He’s hitting value, but I guarantee that if you play him, he will destroy your will to play DFS. The frustration is that bad. 90% of the time it’s not because of Portis’s play.
