6. J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State

Just as Ohio State getting pushed for the first time this season showed in the case of Fields, it showed with the production of J.K. Dobbins as well. He lost a key fumble that Penn State recovered and, though his final numbers ended up looking fine, he was not nearly as efficient as he’s been for much of the 2019 season.

Dobbins carried the rock 36 times for 157 yards and two touchdowns while also notching an 11-yard reception. The sensational junior now has an impressive 1,446 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground this year along with two receiving touchdowns. However, his 4.4 yards per carry in the Buckeyes’ biggest game of the season aren’t enough to vault him up these rankings.

5. Chuma Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State

With Spencer Sanders out on Saturday for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, everyone in Morgantown knew that Mike Gundy was going to feed star running back Chuba Hubbard. That indeed was the case but, as he’s done all season for the Pokes, the sophomore made his mark in a huge way — even if he was unable to find the end zone on the day.

Hubbard led the Cowboys in both rushing and receiving in Week 13, takings 26 carries for 106 yards and catching seven balls for 88 yards, besting his season total in receiving yards in one game. The 6-foot-1 standout now has 1,832 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns along with 170 receiving yards to his credit this season, which pushes him closer to potentially being a finalist and earning a trip to the Big Apple.
