College football betting results evening November 16:

Louisiana(-27.5) at South Alabama: HIT! The USA defense did a pretty solid job here. The offense outside of Tra Minter was pretty much a dud.

Southern Mississippi(-16.5) at UTSA: HIT! Southern Miss may have something to say about that C-USA title…..

LSU(-21.5) at Mississippi: MISS! That stupid half got me. This started out well enough, but the LSU defense got bored. Then got gouged by John Rhys Plumlee for 212 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

Cincinnati(-13.5) at South Florida: HIT! Cincinnati has really been tested lately, but has so far managed to hang on.

Air Force(-10.5) at Colorado State: MISS! The Rams had this game within reach until the defense got tired. Air Force racked up 28 of their 38 points in the fourth quarter to run off with this….literally.

Appalachian State(-16.5) at Georgia State: MISS! This is usually a close game, but Appalachian’s defense stepped up after allowing 21 first quarter points to only allow six afterwards.

South Carolina at Texas A&M(-11.5): HIT! This was a methodical thumping by the Aggies.

Louisville(-4.5) at North Carolina State: HIT! Easy money. Not that the Wolfpack are a bad team. It’s just the magnitude and frequency of injuries has ruined their season.

Oklahoma(-10.5) at Baylor: HIT! This was the largest comeback in school history. Oklahoma has been playing football since 1895. Yes, that was before Oklahoma was even a state. They had never come back from 25 down before. Baylor dominated the first half, but the defense adjusted after halftime and came up with their first takeaway since September 28. Winning like this doesn’t do much for style points, which they desperately need with only a couple of games left.

Arizona State(-2.5) at Oregon State: MISS! This wasn’t a moral victory for the Beavers. It was an outright win! One more win gets them to a bowl. Call me crazy, but I think they get it.

Arizona at Oregon(-27.5): HIT! Good thing the Ducks D held Arizona under a touchdown. The offense wasn’t as explosive as usual.

UCLA at Utah(-21.5): HIT! UCLA still struggles on defense, especially against good teams. It’s time to admit that Utah is good. Probably better than Oregon.

New Mexico at Boise State(-27.5): HIT! Betting against the Lobos is easy money, even if the waterboy has to play quarterback.

USC(-6.5) at California: HIT! Easy money. Bet on that USC offense. The don’t usually let you down.
