DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Trae Young ($9,800): After a total dud against Detroit, Trae comes back with his first triple double of the season against Toronto. Minnesota isn’t a good defensive team. A guy as athletic as Young is going to give them a bunch of problems. This could be another ceiling game for Young.

Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,600): Irving will be out for the next couple of games as well, so Dinwiddie remains the guy. The price still looks high, but Dinwiddie has at least 5x value even at this price in every game with Kyrie out. Now he gets a Cavs team that might still be without Love. That streak isn’t ending here either.

Honorable Mention:

Chris Paul ($6,900): There’s not a lot to get excited about with Paul this year, but he did put up 40.25 DraftKings points against the Warriors on November 9. The ability is still there for Paul. He’s going to look like the Hornets version of Paul here against the depleted Warriors.

Malcolm Brogdon ($6,000): A three game absence with a sore back caused Brogdon’s price to free fall. This is the time to pounce. There’s nothing about a minutes restriction and Brogdon is averaging 39.8 DraftKings points per game this year. That’s about 6.5x value on average. Memphis is a solid defensive team, but I still see Brogdon’s floor as around 6x value.

Ky Bowman ($5,800): It took Bowman a bit to get comfortable running a NBA offense, but he turned in a great outing against the Jazz over the weekend. Bowman put up 41.5 DraftKings points with a good all around line. His usage is high enough to warrant taking a chance on Bowman here.

Dark Horse:

Coby White ($5,400): As with most rookies, White’s production has been up and down. What I noticed though is that even in LaVine’s monster game, White took 19 shots and had a really good stat line of his own. He’s a lot cheaper so that hurts your bottom line less if he goes cold. White doesn’t have the upside of LaVine, but the extra $2,100 could really help on this slate.

Markelle Fultz ($5,100): Fultz has finally seized the starting job in Orlando. He’s not putting up huge numbers, but he’ll still be right around 6x value most games. Detroit is a solid team and this will likely be a low scoring game, but Fultz has a pretty high floor and ample upside since he isn’t all that reliant on scoring.

Brad Wanamaker ($4,300): I’ve been using Wanamaker lately because he’s putting up over 20 DraftKings points per game. If he starts in place of Walker, there is enormous upside here. I don’t care if Wanamaker is 60% owned. I’ll find separation elsewhere. We need this value.
