Duds

Anthony Davis (at SA – $9,700 on DK; $11,800 on FD): LeBron continues to run the show in LA and while Davis will get his numbers, his price on FanDuel is a bit too high being the second highest salary on the night. I don’t think he’ll end up as the second highest scorer over guys like LeBron and Towns, who have a lower salary on FD.

Joel Embiid (at TOR – $8,800 on DK; $10,200 on FD): Embiid has been consistent but also hasn’t given you the big game you need. The Raptors are very good against the position and Embiid’s salary is a bit too high on FanDuel. He’ll have a solid outing, but there are better value options below him.

CJ McCollum (at CHI – $8,300 on DK; $7,700 on FD): The matchup is great against the Bulls but McCollum still isn’t offering quite enough value for the salary. The Blazers are in a funk and while McCollum does have a high ceiling and a good matchup, it’s tough for me to trust him to deliver a big game.

DeMar DeRozan (vs LAL – $7,700 on DK; $7,600 on FD): Much like McCollum, DeRozan is playing around value, but you need more from the high salary guys. And DeRozan has a much tougher matchup against a very good Lakers team, making him a less attractive option.

Ja Morant (at IND – $7,400 on DK; $7,900 on FD): Morant has a high ceiling with his scoring ability but this is a tough matchup against a Pacers team that is good against the position. On a big night with a lot of action, there is more value out there with better matchups to trust a rookie against a rough matchup.
