DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Brad Beal ($9,300): I still don’t care much about the matchup. Beal is going to carry this offense or the Wizards will lose by 40. There’s not really an in-between. That said, on a slate like this it’s very difficult to get both Beal and Luka in the same lineup. There is no way Beal is going to score anywhere near Luka, so it’s an easy fade for me. I’m only playing Beal if enough value opens up to use him without losing much.

Honorable Mention:

Lou Williams ($6,300): The price on LouWill makes him very tempting. He has topped 50 DraftKings points three times this year off the bench, so the ceiling is huge. However, he still comes off the bench. If the unit on the court is running smoothly, Williams may not get as many minutes as usual. Let the variables lower the price. Williams is still the premier sixth man in the league and is much more likely to go over value at this price than under.

Tim Hardaway Jr. ($5,000): THJ is hot right now, and Dallas would be foolish to move off of him while he is. Curry lost a lot of minutes in his return because Hardaway was busy lighting up the Rockets. It’s going to be tough against the Clippers, but if the shots are still falling, THJ is going well over 5x value again. The issue is we wont know until the game starts.

Dark Horses:

Gary Harris ($4,200): The minutes are there for Harris, but the production hasn’t been as fast to come. His recent run of poor shooting and lack of peripheral numbers make it tough to count on Harris, but he’s going to see a lot more and a lot better shots against Washington. He’s a solid GPP punt due to his playing time and opponent.

Delon Wright ($4,100): Wright is the primary backup to Luka so his minutes and upside are always going to be limited. However, Wright does a good job running the second unit and usually picks up enough stats to make him worth your while.
