52. . Wide Receiver. Jacksonville Jaguars. CeeDee Lamb. 9. player

This is the first of two picks for the Jaguars in the first round, and they will look to spend it on an offensive playmaker. D.J. Chark’s development has been a pleasant surprise for the Jaguars, but they need a true deep threat, which they find here with Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb.

Nick Foles, an expert deep ball thrower, will love connecting with Lamb, who averages 22.3 yards per catch for the Sooners. Lamb is also an excellent route runner, so expect the Jaguars to be able to use him for more than just fly patterns in his rookie year, which could help open up the running game for Leonard Fournette.

30. . Cornerback. New York Jets. CJ Henderson. 10. player

The New York Jets are heating up, winners of three straight games, and that is threatening to move them outside of the top 10 in the coming weeks. Even though things are turning around for the Jets, they could use help pretty much everywhere. Joe Douglas would love to rebuild his offensive line, but with Thomas off the board at No. 8, the Jets will go to their next biggest need, drafting CJ Henderson out of Florida to bolster the corner position.

The Jets’ secondary has been a mess since Douglas’ predecessor, Mike Maccagnan, ignored it last spring. Trumaine Johnson is on his way out while Darryl Roberts has been a disappointment, leading the Jets to start journeyman Arthur Maulet and sixth-round pick Bless Austin at corner the past few weeks. Henderson offers a chance to bolster that position in a big way with his excellent coverage skills.
