Quarterback. Los Angeles Chargers. Justin Herbert. 11. player. 13.

The Los Angeles Chargers have been one of the biggest disappointments in football this season, and it is becoming clear the end is near for franchise icon Philip Rivers. Over the past several weeks, Rivers has begun to radically regress, making it a necessity for Los Angeles to look for its future at the game’s most important position.

Fortunately for the Chargers, this is a deep quarterback crop and they find their future franchise quarterback here in Justin Herbert, who probably would have been the top pick last April if he came out. Herbert’s skill set is reminiscent of Bills’ starter Josh Allen, and he could land in a much better situation than Allen did on a Chargers’ offense well-stocked with talent.

. Defensive Tackle. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Javon Kinlaw. 12. player. 48

This is yet another spot where quarterback could be in play, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers having to make a decision on whether to commit to Jameis Winston long-term or move on before giving him a huge contract. Bucs coach Bruce Arians is a fan of Winston’s potential, however, so we’re assuming Tampa stays the course at quarterback and will use this pick to fill a big need along the defensive line.

With Ndamukong Suh, Jason Pierre-Paul, Shaq Barrett, and Beau Allen all scheduled to become free agents Tampa will need some new blood along the defensive front. Enter Javon Kinlaw, a 6-foot-6, 310-pound tackle who can immediately help the Bucs against the run while offering pass-rush potential.
