Philadelphia Eagles. Grant Delpit. 13. player. 54. . Safety

The Philadelphia Eagles have had major secondary issues throughout the season, with injuries absolutely decimating the team’s cornerback depth. One of the constants for the unit has been safety Rodney McLeod, who is expected to test free agency after the season.

If McLeod walks, the Eagles could draft his replacement here in LSU safety Grant Delpit, who many people regard as one of the draft’s best players, let alone defensive backs. Delpit’s tackling needs work, but he has the instincts to wreck the game against both the run and pass, which could make him a steal here for the Eagles at 13.

player. 28. . Wide Receiver. Las Vegas Raiders. Henry Ruggs III. 14

This is the first of two picks in the first round for the Raiders, who get this pick from the Chicago Bears as another dividend from the Khalil Mack trade. The Raiders could use another big time playmaker on offense, and they’ll take it here with Alabama’s other top receiver, Henry Ruggs III.

Tyrell Williams has been solid as the Raiders’ top wideout, but Ruggs offers that elite speed that the Raiders have always loved to take. Ruggs’ ability to take the top off of a defense could make life much easier for the rest of the Raiders’ skill position players as the franchise moves to Las Vegas in 2020.
