53. . Safety. Cleveland Browns. Xavier McKinney. 15. player

After a radical offseason saw the Cleveland Browns reshape their roster in a big way, general manager John Dorsey is expected to make some more adjustments after a disappointing 2019 campaign. Offensive line would be the team’s top priority, but the value simply here isn’t at 14, so pending a trade back expect the Browns to look elsewhere.

Cleveland could also use some help at safety, and Alabama’s Xavier McKinley could offer a huge boost to the Browns’ secondary. McKinley is one of the leaders of the Alabama defense, and his ability to impact the game in multiple ways could add another big asset to the Browns’ defensive backfield.

87. . Cornerback. Carolina Panthers. Pauleson Adebo. 16. player

There are long-term quarterback questions in Carolina, which has been without Cam Newton for most of the season and seen Kyle Allen do a decent job running the offense. While a signal caller could be a consideration with this pick, the Panthers will probably look in another direction, with corner a pressing need with James Bradberry set to hit free agency.

The best corner on the board at this point is Stanford’s Pauleson Adebo, another big, physical corner with tremendous ball skills. That sounds an awful lot like the guy the Panthers might be losing in Bradberry, so Adebo could be a plug-and-play replacement for Carolina going forward.
