DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Luka Doncic ($11,600): There are very few situations now that I would consider a Luka fade, and this isn’t one of them. Before you go complaining about Luka’s elite price tag, realize that he has the most games over 70 DraftKings points so far this season. He can go off at any time. Showtime in L.A. is a great situation, don’t you think?

Kemba Walker ($8,100): Kemba’s shot seems to have returned when he did. Well, kind of. He did well in the Garden, but struggled in Barclays Center. What will Madison Square Garden hold? Considering Kemba has 101.75 DraftKings points over two games against the Knicks this year, I think he’ll be just fine. I have no issue paying this price for him today.

Honorable Mention:

Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,700): Dinwiddie is always in play with Kyrie out again, but his elevated price and the Heat defense have me rethinking this. Dinwiddie needs 38.5 DraftKings points to hit 5x value. That’s doable given what he has done so far, but that’s closer to the ceiling than the floor against Miami. We can probably do better.

Jarrett Culver ($5,000): Teague has been moved to the bench and Culver to the starting lineup, but it hasn’t affected the minutes of either much. It has affected the production though. Culver has done better with a more defined role and Teague is doing about the same off the bench. So far it’s a win for DFS players. I like Culver more, but they still wind up cannibalizing each other’s value.

Dark Horse:

Brad Wanamaker ($4,000): Remember this dude? You know, the wanker that destroyed our fantasy lines on Monday when he started for Kemba? Well, Wanamaker is back to a bench role again, and his numbers have spiked back up to where they were. He’s a sure source of 20 DraftKings points even if the upside is capped.

Tyus Jones ($3,100): Enjoy chalk Tyus Jones until they raise his price. It sounds like Morant’s time on the shelf will be measured in weeks instead of days. Jones has played well when Morant has missed days so far this year. He’s an absolute must at this price. Unless news comes out that Allen or Melton are starting instead. I want whoever starts.
