Is The Walking Dead new tonight, Dec. 1? There’s some confusion about whether or not AMC‘s zombie drama series will be on this Sunday, and thankfully, it’s easy to clear up.

The midseason finale of the 10th season did not disappoint, unveiling some pretty devastating news about the Whisperers, among other things. Dante, before he met his demise at the hands of Gabriel, was revealed to be working for the Whisperers.

Over at Oceanside, the plot really begins to thicken with the mysterious newcomer named Virgil. He eventually offers to take Michonne to a naval base where he resides to arm themselves with weapons needed to stop the Whisperers.

Gamma, aka Mary, lead Aaron to what was supposed to be Alpha’s horde, but that turned out to be a dead end. Despite the setback, Aaron still believes she can be trusted. Carol and the others, on the other hand, do find the cave where Alpha’s horde is located. They get themselves trapped in there as well.

Given the thrilling conclusion of the last episode of The Walking Dead, its understandable that fans everywhere are dying to get another installment. For those hoping that it would be happening tonight, this news is going to feel like an unwanted headshot.

There is no new episode of AMC’s hit series airing tonight, Dec. 1. The news doesn’t get any better. Unfortunately, The Walking Dead will be taking a hiatus until next year. But before everyone goes jumping into a pile of walkers, the wait will not be as long as one would think.

The second half of the 10th season will finish off the last season featuring Danai Gurira as Michonne, who has been a fan favorite and series regular since season 3. There are even rumors of Lauren Cohan’s Maggie making an appearance somewhere in the final episodes of the season, so fans better be sure not miss any of the action when The Walking Dead returns.
