DraftKings NBA Centers:

Best Bets:

Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,600): Towns is here purely for upside. He had a forgettable game against Memphis on Sunday, hitting just one out of ten shots from beyond the arc. Dallas has actually been good defending centers, which in itself defies logic. KAT is capable of hitting 60, but the stats say he’ll be closer to 50 and probably not hit value for this price.

Andre Drummond ($8,900): Drummond dominated the Cavs last night, stuffing the stat sheet and piling up 58.5 DraftKings points in just 31 minutes. Milwaukee isn’t a strong team on the inside either. Drummond took the Bucks for 42.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting. I would say that he has a better chance of hitting value tonight that Towns.

Honorable Mention:

Bam Adebayo ($7,200): Bam’s inconsistency can be maddening, but Boston isn’t exactly a good team up front. However, the team as a whole is good enough on defense to overshadow the shortcomings. I still see Bam as a good threat for 40 DraftKings points here, which is a really nice return for what you pay for.

Jaren Jackson ($6,800): If you took a chance on Jackson with Jonas out on Monday, you likely won money. That’s how good Jackson’s line was. If he could do this with any consistency, Jackson would be a lineup staple. Consistency is a problem, and despite the big line, Jackson still had some issues with fouls. Chicago doesn’t have anyone to tangle with Jackson. If he starts, play him!

Jarrett Allen ($6,000): Allen battled foul trouble against Bam and the Heat on Sunday, but he still turned in a solid game in just 24 minutes despite shooting just three times. Allen has a pretty low floor, but his upside is higher than anyone else you’ll find at this price. He topped 60 against the Cavs last week, a team that is weak on the interior. Atlanta isn’t any better. This could be a really good game for Allen.

Dark Horses:

Khem Birch ($5,300): Birch has an uneventful first couple of starts for the Magic, but he has put up 78.25 DraftKings points over the last three games. Birch has been more aggressive on the boards, but fouls can still be an issue. He played just 28 minutes last night and only shot once and ended up fouling out. Birch is the more solid play, but Mo has the upside.

Marquese Chriss ($4,500): Charlotte has been abused on the interior, so Chriss is at least worth a look. He was pushed around by Orlando without Vucevic and Atlanta without Collins recently, but he did hold his own against Bam before that. Chriss is wildly inconsistent, but he sees enough minutes and has enough upside to be a factor.

Dwight Howard ($3,600): Howard has been more productive than McGee, but he’s still only seeing around 20 minutes per game. Howard is still good enough to put up some good stat lines in that limited time. Howard has almost no upside, but he’s good for a cheap 5-6x value.
