NBA DFS: Studs, scrubs and duds December 4
Duds
Andre Drummond (vs MIL – $8,900 on DK; $10,000 on FD): It’s a back to back for Drummond and I don’t like the Pistons chances in this game overall. He had a solid outing when these two teams met a few weeks ago but there’s better value below him on the night.
Danilo Gallinari (vs IND – $6,800 on DK; $6,800 on FD): Gallinari will get his shots but it’s a tough matchup for him and the Thunder. You can’t expect his rebounding numbers to be as good as they were against the Pelicans either. His ceiling isn’t quite high enough to take at this price either.
Devin Booker (at ORL – $8,000 on DK; $8,200 on FD): Booker has been good but not great on recent games and that’s a worrying sign. It is a back to back for the Magic but they are excellent against the position and that has me worried for Booker.
Rudy Gobert (vs LAL – $7,500 on DK; $7,800 on FD): Gobert is in a similar position as Booker. He’s inconsistent and though he’s catching the Lakers on a back to back, the Lakers are excellent against the position. Gobert will probably end with a double double but you need a big output in one of those categories and I’m not sure it’s there.
Bam Adebayo (at BOS – $7,200 on DK; $8,100 on FD): The Celtics are good against the position and it’s a tough back to back for Miami. I actually like Butler, who is in a similar price range, more than Adebayo on Wednesday. There are better matchups out there.
