SCU was again focused on singles action with Daniels having his first match on Dynamite. SCU still sits atop the division with the gold.
No. 2 —Young Bucks w/Dustin Rhodes (last week: 6)
The trio appear to be calling themselves Natural Bucks. They had a barnburner of a match against Proud-n-Powerful and Sammy Guevara. There were Superkicks and sentons. Rhodes nailed a crossbody to take out all three of his opponents, followed by a Canadian Destroyer on Santana! Nick Jackson hit a senton-powerbomb combo, which allowed Matt to pin Guevara.
No. 3 —Proud-n-Powerful w/ Sammy Guevara (last week: 5)
Proud-n-Powerful defeated Jungle Express on Dark.
Although they didn’t win on Dynamite, this trio put on an incredible match with The Natural Bucks. They deployed their trusty loaded sock to use when the ref wasn’t looking. While vlogging, Guevara did a 450 Splash, but landed in a trio of Superkicks. After their loss, Proud-n-Powerful challenged the Bucks to a Texas Street Fight next week.
No.4 — The Butcher & The Blade (last week: 4)
It was revealed in a video on Twitter that MJF hired The Butcher & The Blade to attack Cody. Cody allowed MJF to pick his opponent against the newcomers. Cody & QT Marshall will take on The Butcher and The Blade in their Dynamite debut next week.
No. 5 — Jungle Express (last week: unranked)
Jungle Express debuted a new vignette and entrance video prior to their Dark match against Proud-n-Powerful. Jungle Boy utilized Marko Stunt as a weapon early on. While they kept their opponents on their toes, it wasn’t enough and the duo suffered yet another defeat. After the match, they were attacked by Proud-n-Powerful and Guevara. Luchasaurus came to their rescue once again.
The following night, Jungle Boy accepted Chris Jericho’s challenge for a match. The match is not for the title, but a chance to prove himself against a legend in the business.
No. 6- Dark Order (last week: 7)
In another vignette, Dark Order continued their creepy recruitment practices for fans that feel disrespected. A pledge was attacked by Stu Grayson.
