Duds

Davis Bertans (vs LAC – $6,400 on DK; $6,200 on FD): The price isn’t bad on FD but there is better value on DK. While he’s been playing well, the Clippers can present a tough matchup with their frontcourt options. He had a big game last time against the Clippers, but this Clippers team will be locked in after the way the Bucks treated them.

Hassan Whiteside (vs OKC – $7,500 on DK; $8,200 on FD): The Thunder is weak against the position, which should inspire some confidence. But the Blazers aren’t as good as their recent games and the Thunder might be better than their recent games, especially after Friday’s miracle win. Whiteside is a numbers guy and will likely get you a double-double, but there’s some better value below him in Harrell.

Joel Embiid (vs TOR – $10,000 on DK; $10,900 on FD): Embiid won’t be as bad as he was the last time he met the Raptors. It’s simply not possible. But Gasol has given him fits and at the price he’s at, you need to be sure he’s going to deliver. I’m not 100% sure he’s going to deliver and that’s why he finds himself in this spot.

Danilo Gallinari (at POR – $6,700 on DK; $6,900 on FD): Gallinari is fairly consistent and unlikely to hurt you. But I don’t see much of a ceiling for him in this game and that’s why I wouldn’t take him. It also feels like the OKC guards and Adams will have a big game in this one while Gallinari has a quietly good night, but nothing spectacular.

Zach LaVine (at MIA – $7,900 on DK; $8,200 on FD): It’s a tough matchup for LaVine and while he’s the best scorer on the Bulls, there are better matchup out there on Sunday. If anyone gets it done for Chicago, it’ll be LaVine. But I’m doubtful he’ll do enough to justify the price. Buddy Hield, VanVleet, or Lowry all make for better options.
