Detroit Lions. Jeffrey Okudah. 5. player. 50. . Cornerback

The Detroit Lions got out to a hot start to the 2019 NFL season, before an injury to star quarterback Matthew Stafford ended any realistic chance they had of making some headway in a tough NFC North division. With the playoffs out of reach, the Lions have to start thinking about what they want to do with the franchise moving forward, and that includes whether or not they will bring back head coach Matt Patricia.

Looking at this Lions roster, there is no doubt that they are going to need some help in their defensive backfield. Sure, Darius Slay is one of the better cornerbacks in the league, but he needs help back there, especially due to the fact that Rashaan Melvin has not produced at a high level this season.

One player they could look to bring in is the No. 1 overall cornerback in this draft class, and that is Jeffrey Okudah from Ohio State. This is a guy that can come in right away and start opposite Slay in 2020, giving the Lions a dynamic cornerback duo for the foreseeable future, which is key considering they play Aaron Rodgers twice a season.

Arizona Cardinals. Jerry Jeudy. 6. player. 32. . Wide Receiver

The Arizona Cardinals have struggled in Kliff Kingsbury‘s first season as head coach, but there are a few bright spots on this roster. One major bright spot for this franchise moving forward is quarterback Kyler Murray, who appears to have what it takes to be an elite quarterback at the NFL level.

While Murray has the talent to get it done with both his arms and his legs, the Cardinals have to go out and get him more weapons heading into 2020. Sure, Larry Fitzgerald has proven himself to be ageless, and Christian Kirk is a nice piece, but bringing in a guy like Jerry Jeudy from Alabama would give Murray the No. 1 wide receiver he needs moving forward.

You have to believe that Kingsbury is going to go offense once again with his first round pick next April, and Murray would like none other than to have a target like Jeudy on the outside moving forward. This is a team that plays in a very tough division, but if they can build up their roster the right way, they have the right talent under center to win games in the NFL.
