DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:

Even though most of the Barcelona injuries have been at guard, it has been Nikola Mirotic that has absorbed most of the scoring responsibility. Mirotic is an elite talent and his tools translate well to the European style. He’s the best play on the slate. Mirotic’s upside is higher than Calathes and he has a much better matchup this round.

I’m tempted to still use Bojan Dubljevic despite the poor matchup. Dubljevic has gone over 20 DraftKings points in six straight round and over 30 in four of those. At this point, Dublejevic is even more of a sure thing than Greg Monroe or Ayon.

DeShaun Thomas is as consistent as Calathes or Mirotic. He just doesn’t have the upside that they do. He’s always in the 20’s for DraftKings points though. I can definitely make room for that in my lineup.

Whereas the middle tier of guards is strong, there are a lot of pitfalls in this area of forwards. Vladimir Lucic is about the only consistent one of the lot after Thomas. You can now throw Jock Landale and Ioannis Papapetrou in there as well. They are no longer priced as bargains, but they still give you a consistent outing every round.

It took Adam Hanga a couple of rounds to get back into his old form, but he seems to be there now. Hanga has 47.25 DraftKings points over the last two rounds and seems to be fitting well beside Mirotic. Hanga is the most reliable option on the cheap at forward today.

Arturas Gudaitis should return from a wrist injury today, but I highly doubt Milan is going to run him 20 minutes in this one. I would expect that they limit him at least this round and likely in next week’s domestic league game. I wouldn’t take the plunge just yet, though that price is very intriguing.
